Finding work after being incarcerated is one of the hardest things to do. It’s definitely not easy, but where there’s a will, there’s a way. The inmates were asked to let us know what they would say to a future employer and WOW, these guys did so well.
They have worked hard to better themselves and they want to make a difference in their community and in the lives of their families.
“…I offer you exceptional analytical skills, incredible interpersonal communication skills experience with stressful high, highly psychological situations. And I have a very, very good tone. With people that are in need. I was recently employed as a hospice worker and biohazard worker, as well as a health care doing the COVID-19 pandemic….”
“…to my future employer, I would say that I’m loyal and, uh, I get along with everybody and I’m a fast learner…..”
“… To a future employer. I would definitely tell them that I have the skills, the knowledge, the qualifications, and talents, uh, everything that’s needed to make a good, uh, employee…”
“…And then I’m not the same person I was back then when I was doing my offending and that. Did you ask him to give me a chance and that I’m a better person today than I was back then? Um, I think how we carry ourselves and how we present ourselves is carries more weight than just the words we might say, because….”
“…And I’ll be the first one there and I’ll be the last one to leave. You can always depend on me and trust on me and know that I’ll be there when this all born there, just as much I’ll be there….”
“…I will say to my future employer known to get the job, let them know I’m a straight shooter. I’m all about a hundred percent truth. And that I’m dedicated to my work and good with my hands. I’m a hard worker and I’m willing to do anything for my job to make sure I keep it..,,”
“…I’m disciplined. I work hard. I’m a team player and I had to organize mind. I get along with people and I have a friendly personality, I follow directions well, and I have leadership abilities….”
“… It is something I put much forth of my, my passion into, uh, my, my dedication and, uh, my, my won’t have a career and, uh, retirement. Um, that’s, that’s, uh, that’s me. I’m about in life and that’s always my job and is what I’m always focused toward is my future and my present….”

“…And, uh, You know, w with the job that I’m going to go ahead and, and with my due diligence and make sure that I give it 110% of everything that I got, you know, Well, w why shoot for the sky when we already got footprints on the, on the moon, and then you shoot for the moon, you at least going land on the stars, you know, um, I tell them, Hey, you know, I’m the, I’m the last one left….”
